A Tail-Waggin’ Success
Author Jan Zita Grover and her canine companion Sophie were the center of a dog-gone good time on Saturday, Feb. 12. Nearly thirty young dog lovers and their parents enjoyed Jan’s talk, the craft stations and the snacks. Our regular R.E.A.D. dog Penny was on hand, too.
A big thank you to Librarian Deb who scheduled this event with Legacy funds and three big woofs to Carol & Neil Sideen for all their hard work pulling this fun time together.

The decorating, along with the accompanying potluck, has become a tradition for the Friends. Please stop in, borrow a good book or movie and wish the library staff a happy holiday season.
From the Friends to all of you–thank you for your support in 2010 and we look forward to an amazing 2011.

Pumpkin Painting a Success
The 2010 Pumpkin Painting event was a huge success. Our artists painted some amazing treasures. Howard Lake Queen Amber even paid us a visit and painted along with the kids.
