This group is interested in increasing public awareness and use of the vast resources of the Howard Lake Branch of the Great River Regional Library system. The Friends undertake projects designed to enhance the library’s image, materials, services and building. Money is raised for these projects through various events. All funds stay local.

Howard Lake History Book

The latest HJorgs.com website is for the new book, “Howard Lake History: 130 Years of the Good Life.” The book is due to be printed and out by Good Neighbor Days in June, in time for the 130th anniversary of the City of Howard Lake.

The book will be a complete reprint of the first book, as well as an update from the past 30 years. There are several recent articles and newer photos in the book, along with a photo gallery of older photos. The website can be found here: http://www.hjorgs.com/howardlakehistory/
